Christiaan Nieuwlaat

Thoughleader Cloud Security & Architecture / Solution Architect at Leaseplan

Christiaan Nieuwlaat has been programming since he was 4 years old, starting with inputting MSX basic listings from MSX Tips-and-Tricks booklets. Fast-forward 36 years later, and going through many languages including Assemby, Pascal, Delphi, C, and C++, he is both skilled in the field of Java as .NET. Currently, he mainly focuses on AWS, Cloud Native, Software development, Architecture, and last but certainly not least Security. In addition to being a passionate developer/architect, Christiaan has been a Certified Ethical Hacker since June 2019, which has only fueled his passion for information security and software security.

Christiaan currently works at Team Rockstars IT as a software engineer/solution architect, helping clients solve their complex IT issues, in various roles, ranging from technical advisor to software architect. He is also one of the so-called Special Agents at Team Rockstars.

In addition to his work, Christiaan is a loving father, deejay, dancer and loves to “tinker” with microelectronics/IoT devices. He is also a board member of the local first aid association and in training to become a first aid instructor.
